What is SLS 3D printing?+

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) fuses polymer powder — typically nylon — layer by layer using a high-power laser, producing strong, isotropic parts with no support structures needed. It's ideal for complex geometries and batch production.

How does SLS compare to FDM?+

SLS produces fully isotropic parts (equal strength in all directions), no visible layer lines, and no support structures — making it superior for functional, complex parts. FDM is better for large structural single-piece components.

What powders does SinterX Pro support?+

PA12, PA11, glass-filled PA12, carbon-filled nylon, TPU powder, and flame-retardant nylon. Custom powder formulation support is also available.

Is the SinterX Pro truly made in India?+

Yes — designed, engineered, and manufactured entirely in New Delhi by Autoabode. It is India's first and only domestically produced industrial SLS 3D printer.

Can SLS parts be used in defence and aerospace?+

Yes. SinterX Pro has been evaluated for DRDO applications including UAV structural parts, mission-critical housings, and field-deployable components that meet defence mechanical and thermal specifications.
